If you are looking to make money, internet options include Google AdSense, selling something (for example eBay), Affiliate Marketing, flipping websites or blogs. Basically, in order to make money, someone somewhere has to purchase something; otherwise, quite simply, no money flows from one account to another.

As a writer myself, I got interested in the whole subject of how I could translate words into money; and I found a number of methods that actually work. Somewhere in the process a sale is made. You don't have to be the person doing the selling of course - you might simply be recommending - that is the essence of Affiliate Marketing. Or you might be the person sending traffic to a sales page - that is, essentially, what AdSense is all about.

The first method to consider and, probably one of the easiest, is blogging. Search engines love blogs and you can set one up completely free at blogger.com - once you put some AdSense code on your blog, you have a nice little money-making site. All you need is to get traffic to it and some of those people will click on your AdSense links which will instantly make money for you.

Many blogs setup with AdSense can earn several dollars per day entirely on autopilot once they are setup and rolling. If you have enough Blogs generating a few dollars you can build the desired income. There are people with hundred of blogs following this method. I have about 20 or so blog of my own and they bring in a nice little regular income. The trick is to keep them updated. If you do, Google will continue to send you traffic and you will continue to earn money.
